Who Can Benefit from the Discount?

The 50% discount is applicable to all public fines issued by the RTA, including fines for traffic violations, parking violations, and vehicle registration penalties. The discount is available to all members of the public, including UAE residents, Emiratis, and tourists.

How to Avail of the Discount

To avail of the discount, motorists can visit any of the RTA customer service centers or pay their fines online. When paying online, motorists must enter the code 52YAS to receive the discount.

What if I Have Multiple Fines?

If you have multiple fines, the discount will be applied to the total amount of fines. For example, if you have AED 100 worth of fines, the discount will reduce the total amount to AED 50.

What if I Have a Previous Discount on My Fines?

The 50% discount is not applicable if you have already received a discount on your fines in the past 12 months.

What happens after December 31, 2023?

After December 31, 2023, the 50% discount will no longer be available. Motorists will be required to pay their fines in full.
